Lock

The locks of our heart. Yes we need them to lock out self-destructive thoughts. The thoughts that wreck us.

Just as I was struggling, with my own thoughts and its dangerous consequences which it was having on the way I earn my bread, I got a wonderful opportunity to be associated with a museum. A temple of our heritage where they preserve our tradition and culture.

The best of things that has happened to me so far. I get a wonderful opportunity to read about Indian spirituality, move around and talk with all the guests from all over the world who are very much interested in our culture and heritage. And above all, to take pictures. :)

Shaky frames & life

Analysts say, why only Samsung could match Apples iphones, where as all other smart phone companies like LG, htc, Nokia etc.. could not even come closer. The reason they have found out is the rawmaterial supply chain management. Samsung like the rest of the competitor do not manufacture so many different styles of phone, they concentrate only on one model, say like, Galaxy II or III just like Apple and manufacture most of the components themselves like the chip, memory card etc, gaining on the internal mass production margins.

Come to think of being focused, I have been off the target of my life, pretty much all through this year. Still struggling hard stay on course. But life has been that way for me, all through, but it seems I have not learned my lesson, to  survive atleast for the basic needs. :)

January

Destiny
The beauty of the sun shine in your soul,
the joy that brings to the ones around you,
No matter how hard I try, couldn't accept,
it won't be you, but another flower,
tomorrow, sad that no one can add a day,
more for you or for me!

January

Elusive

Living life, like the way side flower,
Out of sight, out of minds!

January

It was silly of me to get the spelling of "delight" wrong in the picture. A friend's daughther.

Year end notes

A difficult year with a long sought after career switch to creative space.

They say, creativity flourishes with poverty. I have effectively become poor, but creativity is yet to bloom.

The bright spot of the year was meeting my friend Sree Kumar from school after nearly two decades.

Cannot help being grateful to have come across:

Kim Klassen of www.shuttersisters.com

Jerry Jones of www.shadowhousecreations.blogspot.com

&

Don Talwar of www.seocontentlab.com

Thank you for taking me to a different level of mind space.

Brave heart

NH 47 passes by our small town. Before the liberalization of our economy ours was a small town, most of us crossed this highway over to go to the other side without much trouble. But as our country has grown leap and bounds, our little town too has become crowded and the highway busy. Only we the locals did not realize it, trying to cross the road in carefree abandon till avoidable accidents made us sit up and take notice.

So whenever one of us get run down by the bus or the speeding cars and trucks, Ali Ikka, who runs a tea stall close to the bus stop, is the first to run to the rescue of the unfortunate. The latest was a few weeks ago, he really had a tough time picking up the severed limps of our neighbors. I might have presented this without much emotion, these accidents have become many and we have did nothing to avoid it and I am very much disappointed about it, but for Ali Ikka, I honestly hope the Muncipal authorities would award him for his heart.
