The two young nurses from Kerala, lost their lives, while saving their patients at the ICU of the hospital which caught fire, in Calcutta. When so much of not so good news were in circulation about the nurses from Kerala, your commitment to your job and the way you gave up your lives saving the ones under your care is an inspiration and highly praiseworthy.
The Kerala government gave them a burial complete with full state honors, rightly due to the worthy daughters.
I just hope and pray nursing will soon become in India a highly paid profession just like the IT jobs and these girls will get the respect and recognition they deserve.
